Biography

Adv. Anna Tumaini Mwita is accredited mediator and an Advocate of the High Court of the United Republic of Tanzania. Anna serves as the Co- founder and Director of Legal Services at Lighthouse (EA) Legal Clinic and is a Partner at TRIANA ATTORNEYS. With over 5 years of experience, she specializes in Human Resource and employment matters, handling abroad spectrum of cases, including those related to Labor and Commercial law. Anna is particularly dedicated to advocating for commercial justice within the business community, with a focus on supporting women and youth entrepreneurs.
In addition to her legal expertise, Anna serves as a Gender Specialist with over 7 years of experience. She is a qualified trainer in the Gender Action Learning System (GALS) approach, aimed at enhancing gender balance and economic empowerment in urban and rural communities. Anna also excels as a facilitator in enhancing the capacity of cooperative societies in various agricultural-related projects, focusing on Formalization of cooperatives and strengthening Capacity on members rights and obligations.
Anna holds a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M) specializing in International Law from St Augustine University of Tanzania.
