Biography

Adv. Irene Lulu Nyange is an Advocate of the High Court of Tanzania, with expertise spanning various areas of Law. Her practice focuses on Alternative Dispute Resolution, Probates and Trusts, Cooperatives Law, Health Law, Anti- Human Trafficking Laws, Regional Integration Laws, Tax Laws, Insurance Law, Corporate Law, Conveyancing, Labor Law, and Litigation. Irene is also accredited as a Mediator and Arbitrator, recognized by the Ministry of Constitution and Legal Affairs of the United Republic of Tanzania. She is a registered member of the Tanzania Institute of Arbitrators (TIArb).
In addition to her legal practice, Irene has served as a seasoned lecturer at Dar es Salaam Tumaini University - DarTU (formerly Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College - TUDARCo) for over 9 years.
She is a Co- Founder and Director of Planning & Research at Lighthouse (E) Legal Clinic,holds a partnership role at TRIANA ATTORNEYS, and engages in private consultancies
Academically, Irene is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Commercial Law with a specialization in Taxation at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. She holds a Master of Laws Degree, specializing in Regional Integration Laws and Human Rights, obtained from the University of Dar es Salaam in collaboration with the University of Bayreuth in Germany. Additionally, Irene earned a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Tumaini University Dar es Salaam College.
